Whether you're setting up your bracelet for the first time or need help with an existing profile, start here.

1Getting Started

What is Qure?

Qure is a medical identification bracelet that uses an engraved QR code to connect your bracelet to your online medical profile. When the QR code is scanned, the profile can display the medical information you have added.

How do I set up my Qure bracelet?

Scan the QR code on your bracelet, follow the link to the Qure website, create your account, and add your medical information and emergency contact. Once your profile is complete, your bracelet is ready to use.

Do I need an app?

No. Qure does not require a mobile app. The bracelet works through the Qure website, so a scanner can use a smartphone to scan the QR code and access the linked profile.

2Your Medical Profile

What information can I add?

Your Qure profile can include supported medical information such as blood type, allergies, medical conditions, medications and medical history, along with your emergency contact information.

How important is it to keep my profile updated?

Very. Qure is only as useful as the information in your profile. Review your medical information regularly and update it whenever something changes.

Who is responsible for a child's profile?

A parent or legal guardian should create and manage the child's profile and make sure the information remains accurate.

3When the QR Code Is Scanned

What does the scanner see?

The scanner is redirected to the Qure website and can view the medical profile connected to the bracelet. The profile is designed to provide important information that may help someone understand the wearer's medical needs.

Will my emergency contact know that someone scanned my bracelet?

Yes. Qure is designed to notify your designated emergency contact when your profile is scanned and provide the location associated with the scan.

Does the scanner need a Qure account?

No. Qure is designed so that the person scanning the bracelet can access the medical profile through the website without needing the Qure app.

4Bracelet

Is the bracelet waterproof?

Yes. Qure bracelets are designed to be waterproof for everyday wear.

What sizes and colours are available?

Qure is planned to be available in different sizes and colours. Current availability should be confirmed on the product page.

What if my bracelet is lost or damaged?

Contact Qure Support at support@qure.info. A replacement process is available. Support will guide you through the next steps and any applicable replacement requirements or fees.

Can I reuse the bracelet?

Yes. The bracelet is designed to be reusable.

5Troubleshooting

The QR code is not scanning.

Make sure the bracelet surface is clean and the QR code is clearly visible. Try the phone's standard camera or QR scanner. If it still does not work, contact support.

My profile information is incorrect.

Sign in to your Qure account and update the relevant information. If you cannot access your account, contact support.

I lost my bracelet.

Contact Qure Support as soon as possible so the appropriate replacement/deactivation process can be followed.

I received a notification that my profile was scanned.

If you recognize the scan, no action may be needed. If the scan is unexpected, review your circumstances and contact Qure Support if you believe the bracelet or profile has been misused.

6School & Organization Questions

Schools and organizations can provide Qure as an additional safety measure. Qure does not currently require a school dashboard for this use case; the student's parent or guardian manages the medical profile. Organizations should coordinate with Qure to understand ordering, distribution and support arrangements.
